According to our three priorities, we put the safety of our guests and staff first. It is therefore essential to raise awareness of the challenge of limiting the COVID-19 pandemic. For this reason, we are taking action to provide you and our staff with the best possible protection against infection.

These actions are subject to constant evaluation and adaptation. They were developed based on the guidelines of the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH).

Principle

Clients with symptoms of illness

Clients with symptoms of illness are not allowed to attend classes. They stay at home or go into isolation. They contact a doctor and follow his or her instructions. In the event of infection with the Corona virus, the customer must inform Prime Mountain Sports.

Employees with symptoms of illness are not allowed to work. They stay at home and go into isolation. They contact a doctor and follow their doctor’s instructions.

Bookings

In general, the risk of infection is lower outdoors than indoors. Therefore we strive to minimise the contact points indoors. We ask you to book via online shop, e-mail or telephone, thus minimising the number of contacts with other people.

According to the regulations of 13 January 2021, our office must be closed on Sundays from 18 January 2021. However, for bookings we are available by phone from 8am to 6pm.

We ask guests who belong to a risk group (relevant previous illness, age over 65) to inform us of this. In this way we can take additional precautionary measures accordingly.

Distance

All our employees are instructed to maintain the minimum distance. Between guests and employees, but also employees among themselves and towards other people. They also wear a protective mask in case of close contact.

Group size

As of March 1, 2021, adult groups (16 years and older) may again have more than 4 guests. For lessons, however, our groups are never larger than 6 guests and 1 instructor.

Meeting places

We have unbundled our meeting points and have more space available. Details will be sent out before the start of the course and can be found on our homepage.

In case of large numbers of guests we will stagger our courses to avoid crowds. Masks must be worn at the meeting points. This is also the case for children over 12 years of age.

We ask parents to have only one parent accompany their children to and from school.

Lifts

There is a mask obligation in public transport, this is also valid for the mountain railways. Please contact the mountain railways directly for information about their protection concept. www.titlis.ch, www.brunni.ch, www.fuerenalp.ch

Contact Tracing

All guests are registered, taking into account data protection, to ensure that contacts can be traced as quickly as possible. Our employees report special incidents centrally in the office.

Additionally we recommend our guests to use the Swiss COVID App which is available for Android and IOS.

Catering

Do not share food and only drink from your own bottle. Follow the instructions of the catering establishments.

Training

Our employees are trained in the rules of conduct on the subject of COVID-19.

Cancellation policy

The current situation requires a high degree of flexibility from everyone. Therefore we have adjusted our cancellation conditions.

Free cancellation* of your booking up to 48h before arrival:

• official restrictions on travel to Engelberg or back to your place of residence
• official restrictions on the tourist establishments or activities booked in Engelberg
• suspected case of Covid19 in the tour group with medical certificate

*for groups of 10 or more people, the general terms and conditions apply.

Many Engelberg establishments, including hotels & restaurants, have also adapted their cancellation conditions and guarantee free cancellation up to 48h before arrival.
